Macegreen are excited to announce the completion late in 2024 of the initial works at Digbeth Loc. Studios, Birmingham. Phase 1 was to convert the old council waste offices into Pre-production Offices with Phase 2 to refurbish the old depot building into a Set Build for Digbeth Loc. Studios and Homes England. The Peaky Blinders film is now underway!

Appointed by Homes England as part of the regeneration of this important Victorian site, Macegreen provided project management, cost consultancy and building surveying services, working closely with all parties to ensure the timely completion of this key studio.

This major studio development in the heart of Birmingham’s film industry has created the production base for Steven Knight’s new film. Being sited close to the BBC’s Midlands HQ, the new site will become one of the key #media hubs to grow the city’s Film and TV industry.
